1. Services
Appliance Repair Inc. provides residential and commercial appliance repair services (refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, ovens, and other household appliances) in Palm Springs, California, and surrounding areas. Services include diagnostic visits, repair work, parts replacement, and warranty work.
2. Service Fees and Estimates
A diagnostic service-call fee applies to each visit. Estimates for repair work are provided after diagnosis. Estimates remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted. Approval of an estimate is required before parts are ordered or work proceeds. A deposit may be required for parts.
3. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept credit/debit cards (a small card-processing surcharge applies), cash, check, and Zelle. Past-due balances may incur interest and collection fees as permitted by California law.
4. Warranty
Labor on completed repairs is warranted for 30 days from the date of service. Parts are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty (typically 90 days to 1 year). Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, power surges, or unrelated component failures.
5. SMS Messaging Program
Program description: Appliance Repair Inc. operates a customer-care SMS program to communicate with customers about active service jobs.
Types of messages sent: appointment confirmations and reminders, on-the-way notifications, technician arrival ETA, parts/order status, estimate and invoice links, payment receipts, and replies to customer questions about active jobs.
How to opt in: Customers opt in to receive SMS by (a) providing their mobile number on our written service request form with a checked consent box, (b) verbally consenting during a phone call (logged in our CRM with timestamp), or (c) initiating an inbound SMS to our business number +1 (760) 282-4067. We retain consent records for at least 4 years.
Message frequency: varies based on active jobs — typically 1–5 messages per service job. There is no recurring marketing cadence.
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers charge their standard rates for SMS/MMS; we do not charge for messages.
Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop further SMS from Appliance Repair Inc. You will receive a final confirmation. To opt back in, reply START or contact us.

Supported carriers: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most US carriers. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours in advance at no charge. Same-day cancellations after the technician has been dispatched may incur the diagnostic service-call fee.
7. Limitation of Liability
Appliance Repair Inc.’s liability for any claim arising from work performed is limited to the amount paid by the customer for that service. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.
